Archive: Chispa Blend

Created by Verve Coffee Roasters and Civil Coffee, Chispa brings together coffees from distinct growing communities across Mexico. La Perla works with producers in Veracruz and Puebla while supporting regional coffee production through its nursery and research programs, as well as the distribution of seedlings and organic compost. In Guerrero’s Sierra Madre, Río Verde comes from a remote community where coffee remains central to local livelihoods and environmental preservation.

Named for the Spanish word for “spark,” Chispa celebrates the connections behind the coffee, from the producers and communities who grow it to the longstanding friendship between Verve and Civil. The blend brings these relationships and distinct expressions of Mexican coffee into one shared offering.
